Bailout
Strong, true sentiments about the bailout.
PS. They have plenty of money to bailout people with plenty of money but not enought money for universal healthcare? Boooo.

Immortal Technique
Immortal Technique is a lyrically concise hip-hop group speaking about relevant issues in our world today.; the corporation's control and power of the few on top, the raping of the 3rd world, how pop music is dumbing the general populous down, and all those happy topics. I dig the style of this video and the messages their putting out. Check them out.

LumberJerks invade Ben's Sunday Strip!
While visiting Ontario, I ran into The LumberJerks, who were searching for a rare maple tree. If you drink the sap from this tree; it makes you invincible. Instead, I think they had some other drinks. Either way, I'm happy to present special guests, The LumberJerks, are appearing on this week's episode of Ben's Sunday Strip.

Counting Money
I found it interesting that North America is the only culture that transfers money from hand to hand. Most of world keeps it close, in one hand, and a bit hidden.

Tracey Fragments
Wow. I finally watched The Tracey Framents last night and I was blown away. Bruce McDonald and Ellen Page, two fine Canadian film talent, team up to make a movie like nothing ever done before. At any given time there are a multitude of images flickering across the screen (seen above). These frames constantly shift; blinking in and out of exsistence. A while ago I read an article about the editor going crazy and having to escape to the forest for a month to regain perspective. Now I know why. Not all of the images can be taken in but they don't need to be. It makes for a perfect portrait of the mind of a normal-ish fifteen year old girl.

Prairie Oyster hangover recipe
While watching Cowboy Bebop last night, Spike drank this as a hangover recipe. He was separating the yolk of the egg while a bar fight went on all around him. Classically, someone bumped into him and he had to join in the ass kickin'.
I haven't tried this myself but, if you're hurting this afternoon, its worth a shot.
